The Gulf of Morbihan is an inland sea with a width of 20 km dotted with many islands and îlots.C 'is a popular destination for its beautiful landscapes ... covering hundreds of square kilometers, located in Brittany, in the Morbihan department of which it gave its name. The Gulf receives water from three major rivers: the Auray, Vannes and Noyalo. The geological origin of the Morbihan Gulf goes back to the Quaternary period, following the cycles of glaciation, when the river estuary dug too deep to reach the ocean that was later withdrawn.
